High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.

High Cholesterol at Applebee's

Well, steaks and ribs go hand in hand with cholesterol. Being their signature dish, it will be a challenge to find low-calorie, healthy food for those concerned with their cholesterol levels. However, you can always opt for their salads and other light foods to keep the cholesterol in check.

Ok... so how can I put this. I went with two other people because one of them really wanted to go and I told them it probably wasn't a good idea and the one who really wanted to go got diarrhea and the other one who was foolish enough to go threw up all night. As for me, I had a sub-par meal but didn't get sick because I chose something that I knew would be burned to a crisp therefore could not get me sick even if it didn't taste good. I am not a fan of the whole Applebees/Chili's/TGIFriday's chain only because they put in way too much salt, burn most of the dishes, are greasy, and have flavors in all the wrong places. Service was good but that couldn't save their menu. The only thing I remotely enjoyed was their sweet potato fries. If you must go, just order this and you should survive alright. Parking: Shared lot Price: $10-$15 per person Wait: 10 mins after ordering

While I much prefer to eat at privately owned restaurants versus chains, I do have a soft spot for the 'Bee's. I just enjoy the atmosphere, the food and prices aren't too over the top. We go to this particular one from time to time and have had very consistent service and food. No complaints and always enjoy ourselves. It's probably one of the better Applebee's I've been to ever.

Applebee's is definitely one of my favorite restaurant chains. This location is very clean and the staff are friendly as usual. The food came out fast and our server, Brandon was very helpful. And I gotta love the big portions and the healthy options. I just wish the nachos weren't as salty and it would've been better if it had more shredded brisket.

When no one knows where to go out to eat, Applebbe's wins. It feels so homey with tons of food choices with the ever expanding and changing menu, including tons of specials and healthy options. I loved my fish with green apple salsa. The service is also usually fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

My daughter loves Applebee's. I think it's okay. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. It was gooey and good. I ordered the cedar salmon and it was slightly overcooked - not good for fish. My wife and daughter ordered a couple different strawberry/chicken salads. Overall, it's a good family place and comfortable.

Really wasn't thrilled with the quality of service at this location. Food was OK, but nothing to rave about. Very average chain restaurant fare. The pretzel with dip appetizer was good. Cheese sauce was very bland, but the other two dips were delicious. The pecan crusted salad was not very tasty. It was also very bland. I was asked if I'd return to Applebees. The answer is a wholehearted....NO!

I only ever go here when my in laws visit, they have very simple taste and only like chain restaurants. I guess if that's your thing this place is ok. I don't eat meat so eating here is a nightmare. They got rid of their veggie burger option (why? They were the same gross frozen ones you get at the store, it's not like they took time or money to make) and the salad comes covered in cheese but this isn't mentioned in the menu or by the staff. Ok whatever, i shouldn't be trying to eat here anyway and should be happy they offer unhealthy gross fries. What really disappointed me last time were the games on the table. Applebees seems to be desperately trying to hang on, now marketing to families who hate each other and need a distraction. No thanks.

Applebee's... Where to begin? Let's start in Junior High. Everyone's body changed so much quicker than mine. Especially Charlie Raine aka Rainman. 6'3". His forearms were lethal. I tried triple knotting my gym shorts to stop him. Three knots weren't enough. I wasn't the only one to learn that in '06. Poor, poor, Mikey Ashton. He hasn't been the same. F*** Chili's.

This apple bees sucks. Bad service they take way to long to put in an order. Recommend don't going here. I was sitting here for a good 10 Mins until they waited on me

Normally, I'm not a fan of this place because of bad food experiences from other locations, but this location seems to be pretty good. The Thai Shrimp salad I had was huge (I couldn't finish it all) but delicious and very fresh. The staff was very friendly. They are supporters of Alex's Lemonade Stand which I was happy to give a donation. I came on a Saturday afternoon.

I really love coming here. The hours are awesome, there is almost never a wait, and the food is good. I almost always get a quesadilla burger or three cheese chicken penne, and I am never disappointed. Appetizers are half-off after 9, so a late night snack with friends is always affordable and run. My favorite FAVORITE servers ever are from Applebee's: Sean and Lisa. I love these guys, they are so friendly and enjoyable to be around. They are the main reason my boyfriend and I come back so often. The only negative experience I've ever had here was with Carside To Go. I ordered online and when I picked up the order I got a wrong side with forgotten extra sauces. Saying that the meal(s) are way better when you eat in is an understatement; my friends steak was rubbery and obviously microwaved; my chicken had the same rubbery consistency and I couldn't even eat it; the rice I got was dry and lukewarm; the fries my boyfriend got were mushy and cold. I called up and the manager on duty asked for my address so he could send me coupons. Still waiting on receiving them, and I would have preferred a refund seeing as the food was so gross, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since I'm usually very happy with their service.

Out of all the applebee's restaurants I have been to, this chain has excellent customer service. The staff members are always excited, happy, and positive. The place is pretty clean and has a big parking lot. The food is the same for the most part, but the upbeat environment definitely makes the entire experience worth while.

Really great time at Applebee's tonight. First, I was surprised we didn't have to wait for a table at 630 on a Saturday night. Food was was fast and fresh. I had the Sizzling chili lime chicken. Wow! Really good and apparent really heathy. My wife enjoyed her salad and I sampled the kids grilled cheese. One of the best grilled cheese in my opinion. Applebee's is a chain of course, but our experience at this Applebee's has always kept us happy. Summary: it's a chain of course, but its worth the visit. Food and service is great.

I love the food and they have great specials. The place was clean and the atmosphere was very positive. Our waitress was amazing, friendly, caring and very funny. It was clear, her goal was for use to enjoy ourselves and we did. The drinks were delicious and the food as well. Everything that we order came promptly and the food came out hot and tasty.

I called to place a curb side to go order...it was so crowded there were no spots out front so I had to park and go in. When I went inside I was told to wait by the bar and about 5 minutes later was told my order was "lost" I think walked out and called the store and a different employee told me she had taken my order and they had it. After being placed in hold for 10 minutes I was told by a manager that they had my order but did not make the food. They could not give me a reason why however and did not offer any compensation. Just upholding to their nick name "crapplebees"

This Applebee's is a standalone building within a strip mall. Parking seemed more than adequate. I went to this restaurant in the context of a geocaching event. So understandably, the staff was busy and it took a while to get everyone's orders in. However, once they got going, I found that service was pretty responsive. One nice thing about this restaurant is they have all-you-can-eat soup and salad specials at lunch. It's a decent value. I had house salad with potato bacon soup until I was satisfied.

We eat her a lot. Never had to wait for a table and yet they have a nice selection of food that is very good. Some even low calories. Quick service too. And they serve Mascato wine which hardly ever is served at any restaurant.

Saturday night and many open tables. Hmmm. Applebee's tries so hard too. But food is just fair. We had a real mixed bag of good and fair House salad was very good...nice portion and the good lettuce...spring mix. Salmon was over cooked which made it too dry...extra orange glaze helped. My hubby's fish and chips were very good but fries...soggy. I did like their new larger pour on the wine! Extra $2.00 was like a glass and a half. Very nice! What made our dinner extra special was our waiter (Ben)...he was excellent. But the food did not leave us wanting to go back anytime soon. Not memorable.
